It's a good idea, but the Constitution bars cruel and unusual and that would be unusual as it pertains to the death penalty. Personally, I think lethal injection is unusual. We should go back to the rope.
To be honest with you, I've always thought that lethal injection was the wussified version of execution. The instruction manual should be subtitled, "Killingfor Pansies".
I prefer life in prison chained to a concrete slab, but if we're going to execute people, we should do it with some dignity. Use a nice hemp rope, or a .30-06 for the occasional military execution.

Convict them and give them one appeal within a 6 month time period. If that fails to free them, carry out the sentance. This business that keeps them incarcerated for years while they become jail house lawyers stinks.Move them out and free up the beds. That way there will plenty of room for the next batch of criminals.
