Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Our Government at work

Guy's I just received my 2008 Census Dress Rehearsal form. It looks just like an official census form. States "YOUR RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY LAW". I even started to fill the little bugger out and then I asked why? It's a dress rehearsal. The last line in the welcome letter sums it up. The results will be used to develope better methods that will make the 2010 Census easier, more convenient, and less costly for taxpayers. Well I did my part and tore it up. I'm saving the return postage fee. To bad someone couldn't save us tax payers even more by not wasting this money in the first place for a rehearsal letter. You would think with all this polling and forms sent out every year by the private sector, the government could just follow their lead and their expertice in the matter.

Way to go FM. Glad to see someone is trying to save the gooberment money. I find it irritating to get all the junk mail in my bills and credit card lures with free return postage. Just for fun I usually stuff the envelopes with junk mail and send it back

There was a guy up your way years ago heating his house with junk mail. He said the more the better. The USPS delivers it for free so he requests all the junk mail he could get.
