I dont plan on buying any guns or ammo from them either. This is just retarded! Its a waste of time and effort. So I buy a rifle and sell it three years later. After I sell it someone uses it in crime. Now I get black listed. They say its only from purchasing guns at walmart, but i doubt that, Im sure I would be flagged on all background checks. Its a big wast of time and will not solve the problem of nut jobs commiting crimes. What will help the situation is harsher punishment for offenders. The more crimes these idiots commit the more our rights and privacy get erroded.

I don't like seeing any firearms retailer cozying up to Michael Bloomberg simply as a matter of principle. Bloomberg is hell-bent on becoming the biggest thorn in the sides of gunowners, and with the money he has to spend, he's well on his way.
With that said, this in and of itself doesn't seem like such a big deal. Besides, why buy guns at Wal-Mart in the first place? It goes without saying that we should support the little guy with a small gun shop rather than the mega-mart. But add in the fact that most of those guns that seem like such a good deal at Wal-Mart are usually just more cheaply made spinoffs of the real thing that are manufactured specifically for Wal-Mart, and then consider that they're holding hands with a gun control organization, and that's a pretty good laundry list of reasons to Just Say No to Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart is on its way to becoming another Target, anyway. It's just a matter of time until sporting goods departments at Wal-Mart take all of the camouflage and bottles of Tinks 69 off their shelves and become all about soccer balls and bicycles. They haven't the backbone to stand up to the pressure from the political correctness crowd, and they don't realize that sportsmen have millions of dollars to spend if they'd just embrace them. That's why, if I choose to spend my money with a mega-retailer, I'll chose Cabela's or Bass Pro . . . someone who I don't have to worry about selling me out to those bent on destroying my sport.

The world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc, says its inventory of stock produced in China is expected to hit US$18 billion this year, keeping the annual growth rate of over 20 per cent consistent over two years.
The trend is expected to continue, company officials revealed.
"We expect our procurement stock from China to continue to grow at a similar rate in line with Wal-Mart's growth worldwide, if not faster," said Lee Scott, the president and CEO (chief executive officer) of Wal-Mart.
The only thing I've purchased there in the past year that would even come close, was a sling.
No problem boycotting that place.
I hate going in there, it's always so durn crowded.
But add in the fact that most of those guns that seem like such a good deal at Wal-Mart are usually just more cheaply made spinoffs of the real thing that are manufactured specifically for Wal-Mart,
This is BS. You can order most any production firearm from Wal-Mart and it will probably cost you a good deal less than the small shops. So you are telling us that for every production firearm available there is a cheap spinoff made especially for Wal-Mart? No way is that possible OR true.
That's why, if I choose to spend my money with a mega-retailer, I'll chose Cabela's or Bass Pro . . . someone who I don't have to worry about selling me out to those bent on destroying my sport.
Exactly.
