Considering how nasty it's gotten in that state, particularly betweenvarious unions, we can be sure Hillary and Obama campaigns will continue to be at each other's throats.

They are tied now, by the election McCain will have a comfortable lead and win easily. You guys can take that to the bank. The ONLY thing that could keep him from winning is if he would say something off the cuff or off color that the media would blow out of proportion. There is absolutely NO way that Hillary or Obama will otherwise be elected president. America will NOT vote a black man with a short resume in as president, it's as simple as that. A woman could get elected in my opinion, but Hillary is surely not the one. McCain has distanced himself far enough from Bush and his clowns long ago, and he is viewed by even many democrats as a capable and experienced politician and he surely will get many of their votes since many can't stand either Obama or Hillary. Unless something ugly was to surface, there is no way he can lose.

The honeymoon with Obama is over and Hilary continues to shoot herself in the foot with stupid lies and exagerations. Of course, McCain can shoot himself in the foot too if he can't control his temper or avoid giving the appearance of senility.

Your absolutely right. I think many republicans and democrats are dead wrong thinking that McCain can't win the election. If he were a bit younger it would be NO contest this election. I myself have been puzzled by what people see in Obama even more than Hillary. He keeps talking about change, but I have yet to hear exactly what he intends to change and how he will go about it. Hillary at least tries to present what she wants to do and how she will go about it. She may be lying half the time, but at least she is putting something on the table compared to him, at least that's how it appears to me.

As far as I'm concerned there can be no reliable information as to how the Republican nominee stacks up against the Democratic nominee, because there is no Democratic nominee and there has been no campaigning of one nominee against the other nominee. There certainly is no conclusion to be drawn from how many voters are turning out for Democratic primaries versus Republican primaries. Neither my wife or I turned out for the Republican primary in Texas -- what need? -- but I can assure you we will be turning out in November to vote.
