Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default If ever there was reason to question???????

What the hell we're doing in Iraq?

This dirt bag has more control than we do after five years and four thousand of our best lost for what?

I'm for Nuking whats left and leaving it to the Iranians

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN)[/b] -- Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called off a mass demonstration for Wednesday in Baghdad and threatened to formally end the seven-month cease-fire of his Mehdi Army militia.

A medic assists a man at a Baghdad hospital Tuesday, after the man was wounded in clashes in Sadr City.

Fighting in al-Sadr's Baghdad stronghold of Sadr City stretched into its third consecutive day Tuesday. At least 36 people have been killed and 139 wounded, an Interior Ministry official said.
Eight of the 11 U.S. troops killed in Iraq on Sunday and Monday died in fighting in Baghdad.
Four U.S. soldiers were killed Monday in the capital, the U.S. military said.
One soldier was killed by a roadside bomb, two by a rocket-propelled grenade and one by small-arms fire after a roadside bomb detonated near his vehicle during a patrol in eastern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
The deaths bring the U.S. death toll in the Iraq war to 4,024, including eight civilian Defense Department contractors

We need to quit playing nice and kill Muqtada al-Sadr. Some will tell me that this will cause more kaos and escalate the war. To those people id say, "who is the cause of most of our problems?" al-Sadr. He plays by his own rules. He feels he can strong arm America, and the rest of Iraq with his threats and followers actions. Time to flush the toilet if you ask me.

Sadr is in Iran's pocket. Killing him does nothing to address Tehran's desire for control of Iraqi oil revenues. Someone will take his place and his followers will be itching for a fight.

That is exactly why I say kill him. Is Iran going to take action? Nope, they keep saying they are not involved. If we kill him there will be a power vacumm, which will lead to apower stuggle. Lots of time the power struggle causes the collapse of the establishment. If it does not cause inner struggle for power, what have we lost?

So we do what we are doing for 10 ? 30 ? 50 years.

Kill them all and see if a better form of life evolves from the rubble.[:@]

It's not that simple. You can talk about nukes, but no sane person is going to start throwing them around over al-Sadr. Nuclear holocaust is off the table unless someone else strikes first. That's the way freedom-loving peoples go. Anyone who begs to differ is living with his head in the clouds.

There's always someone trying to stick it to the U.S. Look back through history. We have Britain, Spain, various European powers, the Soviets, and now Islamic nutjobs. Same as it ever was, which means we stay over there until we wear our enemies down and take control of their political arenas. Protecting the interests of a country like ours never has been and never will be easy. War is part of life everywhere, but especially with us. When you're this big, you're an easy target.
