As a hunter, i want to know where my peers stand on this issue. In my own opinion, global warming is politically motivated rhetoric used by liberals to regulate corporations. This is another spotted owl incident, which has now been proven as a hoax (they dwindled by natural predation, not logging) and every leading science university agrees. The sad thing is people believe such junk, especially the 1960's hippie generation, and this Obama crazed left. The goal is to promote their socialist, Marxist image of how America should be, and regulating industry is their ticket to win. Now there are obvious problems and concerns in the environment, and as a hunter and environmentalist, i am truly aware. But Al Gore and the global warming left are flat out wrong, but you would never hear about this in the media, not during a record snowfall year in the west. One final note, a national environmental group heald a protest/global warming visual in my town a few weeks ago, during their gathering it began to snow, and a 1/2 foot fell in one hour. They packed up and left, heads down. I had to chuckle over this, especially the time of year and how much snow we got. Anyways, what do you all think!?
If you belive it to be fact dont say we dont know the cause... the cause is either a regular change the earth sees every thousand or millions of years or its because of all of our air pollution cars trucks airplanes etc... my own theory is that airplanes are the cause... I think that they change the jet stream over time and cause the weath to do crazy things... IMO

Very intresting concept cowboy, very intresting. I do believe over all warming is taking place to a certain extent. Why exactly, I'm not sure. It could be a cycle thing, but I do think the crap we put into theatmosphere has something to do with it. JMHO

The earth goes through natural warming and cooling trends, dictated by the sun's output. We went through a slight warming trend that ended in the late 90's, levelled off for some years, and had a decrease in global temps last year. No way to tell for sure, but I suspect the temps this year will not be any higher than the early 2000's, and may be lower than last year, indicating a cooling trend. Those who are doped up on Gore coolaid will see "manmade global warming" for the scam it is within a few years when they can't explain away the fact that we aren't continuing to warm as they predict.

If the Democrat Party nominee gets elected, I'd anticipate that, by then, they'll have had time to enact a nice batch of new taxes for those of us whose lifestyle leaves a larger carbon footprint than the average streetcorner beggar... I'm pretty sure I'm on their short list of targets since my house is more than 2400 square feet...
I see an article on Drudge now saying the earth hasn't warmed since '98, but it's because of la nina, and that it will warm again in a few years. Even in a cooling period, the liberals still cling onto the global warming theory. Gore said we'd get hotter and hotter. We're not, so they come up with excuses that basically they are right no matter what the facts are about lglobal temperatures. First, they said you can't judge global warming on a single day, which is true. Now they're saying you can't judge it on a year, which doesn't make sense. Next thing, we'll hear you can't judge it on a decade, then two, etc. etc.
I'm pretty sure I'm on their short list of targets since my house is more than 2400 square feet...
But there will be plenty of loopholes left so that goobermint officials can be exempt from 'carbon taxes.' Count on it.
