Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

ABC News' George Stephanopoulos Reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and former President Bill Clinton are making very direct arguments to Democratic superdelegates, starkly insisting Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., cannot win a general election against presumptive Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.

I like it ! Democrat backstabbing at it's finest ! To be honest tho', I'd rather see a McCain/Clinton contest than a McCain/Obama contest. I just think the Obama troglodytes are greater in number than the
Clinton Cadre. Unless McCain starts to get uncharacteristically tough, he's gonna go the way of Bob Dole.
I heard him speak on one of those morning radio shows (Imus) and he sounded old to the point of being addled. He's a stinker to be sure, but he's STILL higher up on the evolutionary ladder than any of the democrat candidates. If he's gonna win, the kid gloves have to come off and he's gotta be ready for a little bit of trench warfare.....

I agree with you there. I think he wants it enough to do what is needed, but I've been wrong on assuming republicans stand up to the plate too many times to count!

With all the baggage now coming out about Obama, he should be as easy to take down as the rudderless Bismark.

Never dis-count the media's ability to play down anything. It is up to 'talk radio' and the opposition to keep Obama's vileness in the forefront. It's sort of funny how his justifications get more and more outlandish and yet he will not disavow his racist pastor. Hitlery can rise from the ashes...my 'dream scenario' is for Hitlery to get the 'nod' from the super delegates over obama and then the demos crumble. THe split to the party will be so great that we will have another 4 years of republicans in the white house, possibly 8. The democrat party deserves to burn to ashes as they are no longer the party of the people...they're socialists, communists and resurrected 1960's radicals.
One can hope, right ?

I think the Dem party wants it to be her but is worried about how they can pull it off. The fix is in IMO. Watch for some dirt created or resurected to bring his popularity down just at the right time.

This sounds like a rare truthful statement coming out of the mouths of Clintons, but its only a half truth- Hillary can't win against McCain either.

As uninspiring of candidate that we have, at least we don't have the two lowest common denominators of the democratic(sic) party duking it out with eachother to see who gets to win second place in the general election.

bergall, let's hope you're right. Fortunately for McCain, all he has to do is shut up. The democrats do a good job of imploding all on their own.

You're right...McCain needs to keep his geriatric trap shut. He's sure smart enough, but he does not SOUND it. His biggest liability may be his temper which at this point could sink him if he's indiscriminate with his comments.

As far as the democrat implosion, I'm counting on it. Hitlery's not dropping out, come hell or high water. No way. No matter what the DNC and her fellow socialists say. The putrid P.C. of the democrat mind does not know where to go...they heralded Hitlery as "FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT". THen they heralded obama as "FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT". Then, in the sick and twisted minds running the DNC, there is a 'formula' in the PC dogma which dictates that RACE TRUMPS GENDER. So while they all wanted Hitlery, they pushed obama because they never thought he'd be as popular as he is (they could crow about his 'attempt' and how the people did not vote for him if he failed, and still ensconce HItlery in the WH) and they'd get credit for putting up a woman AND a black man. THese are treacherous times and there is no depth to which the democrats will not sink. All the moaning about how inconvenient the electoral college is notwithstanding, now they set up something akin to the EC known as super-delegates who are beholden to nobody, not even the electorate ! This is a body of independent voters just RIPE FOR THE PURCHASE !!! AND NOW THAT HITLERY's MAKING THE ATTEMPT, THEY"RE POINTING THE FINGER AS IF SHE SHOULD NOT DO IT !! HAHAHAHAHAHA !!! Is that not the BEsT ????

They're threatening riot, civil disturbances, protests, armageddon on a minor scale in Denver. I CAN'T WAIT !

PS: I think I finally found out what that odious "ALTERNATIVE MINIMUM TAX"
is all about. I got my taxes done today and after it was all said and
done, we were in a 33% tax bracket. Our tax credits and deductions
dropped us into a 20% bracket. This is where the AMT comes in because
even tho' you're entitled to the deductions you take, and even tho' you
can claim overpayment by law, you've lowered your overall tax
classification from 33% to 20%. The goob's losing money so they
penalize you for it. This is just ONE of the atrocities the Dems are
clutching to their black hearts as something 'good' and which they will not
repeal. Cripes I hate 'em all..... Was this during JOhnson's or Nixon's
admin ? I smell the stink of a democrat in this, but I could be wrong....
