Default big cats... should be protected?

Mountain lions. Jogger eaters. Should they be legally protected? I say no. They need to be out of town. They are dangerous. Best to keep them in the wild areas.

Any takers?

Theres a damn good reason predatory animals were wiped out wherever man settled the first time around, and I would say thats still good reasoning now.

In the truewild, where they don't interact or come into contactwith man is one thing, but in close proximity to human populations of any size, no thanks.Hunters happily volunteer to fill the niche predators fill, andthey pay to do it.

I guess it depends if the eaten jogger was anti-hunting or not (like many in CA, I suspect. No offense targethogs). If they were then I say "way to go mountain lions!!!"

That leaves me out. I can not expand on what that means on this forum.
