Obama's passport information has been compromised!
I'm not for governement intrusion on anyone, but did you see this much outrage when Michael Steele's financial information was obtain by Chuck Schumer's office?
"This is an outrageous breach of security and privacy, even from an administration that has shown little regard for either over the last eight years," Burton said. "Our government's duty is to protect the private information of the American people, not use it for political purposes."

This is another non-starter for the overly-sensitive Obama campaign. There is little or nothing in the file. All they have is a passport photo, passport number and dates that he entered the US.

That may be so and I agree. However, no one made this much fuss when Steele's financial records were gotten by Schumer's office.

No outrage because he has nothing to hide??? Come on, then you have no issue with the government coming into your house looking for stuff, uless of course you have something to hide? Or a background check to get a gun, after all you have nothing to hide?
It's a violation of a person's privacy, it IS an issue.

I don't think we can assume to know what went on yet, and yes, there should be a complete investigation and violators treated accordingly. But FM's point about the one-way-street nature of these things is pretty sickening!
