Officials from all three nations have said there are no government plans to create such a union,[1] although the idea has been discussed and proposed in academic and scholarly circles, either as a union or as a North American Community (see Independent Task Force on North America). The formation of a North American Union has been the subject of various conspiracy theories.

Don't be naive. Government officials violate the very document they all swore to protect all the time in the name of security and benevolence. With each violation the constitution grows weaker and perhaps americans attitude toward adherence to it, more apathetic. Society is moving toward one world government and perhaps that is only natural. It is, however, scary. One reason the second amendment is sooo important. I guarantee no one will ever put a chip in my arm.
