John Adams

About a month ago the question came up, who was your favorite president. I replied with John Adams because most don't know how big of a role he played in making this country The United States of America.

Well last night HBO started a mini-series on John Adams and I'e been able to watch the first two episodes and they have been awesome. I hope you get a chance to watch it and learn more about the man and what he did. If you missed it or dont have HBO, I think Netflix has the series available. On the other hand, if you prefer reading, The book "John Adams" is a great read.

I watched the episodes last night and it was an excellent show. I think what one of the best parts about it was how it showed the political aspect of the founding of our country. We get the military and war info pounded into our head, but its really interesting to see the political aspect in a way that's not as confusing as just reading it out of a book.

I think that Giamati is a great actor, but he would have been the last person that I would have envisioned in that role. But, evidentally he has pulled it off.

I have to agree with that statement. He has surprised me.

I just saw a trailer on that. Looked very well done. I don't get HBO so I'll try to find another source. Wasn't Tom Hanks the Exec. Producer?

I watched last night as well. It's an excellent series no doubt. I thought Giamati did an awesome job.
