Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Having second thoughts on McCain again.

I only became aware of this hatemonger John Hagee a week or two ago. (Okay, I haven't been around very long.)

But if McCain doesn't reject this guy's endorsement a bit more strongly, I'm not sure McCain is my guy. I mean is McCain so desperate to be president that he'll cozy up to somebody like Hagee? It just contributes to hiswishy-washy image.

It's a quandry, DLG. I guess you could vote for *Nader* if he gets on the ballot.

A hate-monger? Not really.

Aw, just do what the rest of us do. Hold your nose, gag, retch and mark your ballot for the lesser of two evils. Just hope that you do not have to puke before getting out the door of the polling place.

McCain's already distanced himself from Hagee while simultaneously cuddling up toCatholic groups. Damage control was applied fairly quickly.

My first impression of Hagee was that he was KKK. But evidently he's some kind of preacher. I was surprised to discover he has fans here on HNI.

I think I know enough about McCain to assume he isn't a Hagee fan. He's probably just trying to avoid alienating Hagee's disciples. I guess I would have more respect for McCain if he were willing to go ahead and offend people who would look up to a guy like that.

I'm probably too idealistic. It's a fault we juveniles tend to have.

Some strategists suggest that McCain has more to lose from Evangelicals than he does from Catholics. I really don't think McCain personally gives a damn about either group.

I think this a moot argument if you are comparing McCain and anybody who endorses him, and Obama and his bigot pastor who was endorsed by Obama for the last 20 years by being his church member.

McCain did not choose Hagee.

Not to mention that Obama donated 22k to that bigot last year.. Now talk about association.

I don't think Mc Cain donated a dime to Hagee.. By the way, I am not a Hagee supporter, or will I ever be. I really can't say anything bad about him, I've never watched him long enough to make an assumption. I don't like screaming preachers.
