When I heard that Franken was running for the Senate my first thought was "He's a comic/writer for Saturday Night Live, exactly what qualifies him for public office?" The residents of Minnesota should be asking the same question.

He's a criminal. He'll be elected, and maybe installed into the Senate for life.

It wan't health insurance, but unemployment insurance, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong, but paying the unemployed ... isn't that a liberal policy?

No way in H888 is he getting my vote and I know alot of others that say the same thing.But most voters are big city people(Mpls,Duluth,Rochester) that dont have a clue about the rural towns and thier people,they seem to know whats best for us....and it pizzzes me off...
These are the same people that fill thier gas tanks once or twice every two weeks and complain about the gas price....
The same people that come out to the country and complain about the dogs barking or the cows are to noisy at night and cant sleep.....
