Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default When Athletes Try to Discuss Politics

Former Ohio State and NFL football star Eddie George appeared on a local radio station in this area to speak in support of Barack Hussein Obama. He gave a mini-speech where he insisted that Obama needed to be elected because of all the change that he will bring about. George used "change" like 3 times in a couple sentences. When he finished, the host asked him to specifically identify changes that Obama would make. George's reply was, "I don't know exactly." Gotta love it when jocks try to enter political discourse.[8D]

Athletes? I bet you'd get the same deer-in-the-headlights stare if you asked the same question of virtually any supporter of either of the morons leading the Democrat party race (and the candidates too...).

Granted. But somehow we are evidentally supposed to give more credence to someone based on the fact that they can run a 4.4 forty yard dash.

Eddie George's agent should have his/her teeth kicked in for letting him anywhere near a microphone while talking politics. I'm sure that whoever his agent is knows perfectly well that he's not the smartest tool in the shed.

He said it yesterday a couple hours before the polls closed while on a radio station that covers the greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio area, as well as portions of Indiana and Kentucky. The station, which is right leaning, has already said that they are gonna save that sound bite and people are gonna hear a lot of it in the future.

They also have some pretty amusing clips of Charles Barkleyspeaking in support of Obama.

First, Eddie George. Then Charles Barkley. I believe I see a pattern developing! Maybe Shaq will throw his support behind Obama. That should do wonders for his campaign. Or maybe Mike Tyson!

As far as I could make out, Sir Charles wants Obama to win because he supports gay marriage and he thinks that he would get invited to the White House by Obama.

I have a sneaking suspicion that that's not the only reason that Barkley wants Obama to win.

No doubt. Barkley would vote for Idi Amin if he ran for Pres here.
