That's just in the primaries. I doubt that many, if any, will vote for Obama in the general election. It's simply a "get rid of Hillary now" ploy, since she really needs to carry Texas in order to stem Obama's momentum and salvage a chance to getting the Democrat party's nomination.

RE: Texas Republicans Support Obama
I voted for Sharpton in the last primaries. Its easy to vote for a joke with no meaning. I agree, its more of an anti Hillary cry than an anti McCain cry.

Exactly, I thought of doing it. But the more I listen to him, the more I like Hillary..*&^&$&**(*( I tought I could never say that!)Wow, that hurt!
I'm a texas Republican who voted early in the Democratic primary friday. Inour county, all of your local offices run on the Democrat side which is a pain. I wanted to vote for two local offices, so that is what I did. If there was a real race for Pres. in the Republican side that is where I would have gone, and just ignored the locals.
My look is a little different as far as Hillary and Obama. I want the Clintons gone for good, but at the same time I want to keep the chance there that the Dem. race is close enough to get ugly. My hopes are that it is close for the longest time. Close enough for the Clintons to try to really swindle Obama.
I stood in the voting booth for a long time trying to cast the vote for Hillary, because I knew she needed Texas to have a chance to keep the Obama, Hillary war going.....But, I just couldn't stomach it. I just voted for the two locals on the long ballot and left the rest blank.

You and me both. I care absolutely nothing for Hillary, but hussein bamawama just flat scares me.
I think McCain beats Hillary easily in the regular election. I'm not sure he beats hussein. hussein is an unknown, and his speaches are of no substance, so there really isn't much of a way to attack his views. Instead of amazing voters with his brilliance, he is dazzling them with bs, and it is working.
McCain's views are well-known, so he would be at a disadvantage. If instead he is facing Hilllary, her views and policies are also fairly well documented, and he can also factor in some of the previous Clintoon administration against her.

My best understanding is that Obama, a Chicago liberal, is the more liberal of the 2 dems. GOP types can hope that they just quarrel and leave a blood trail for a loooong time to come. It should help McCain.
