Default Closing in on $4.00 a gallon

I filled up the diesel tank today, $3.73 a gallon!![:@][:@][:@] In 2004 it averaged $1.85, has demand really doubled in 4 years? I know supply didn't go down by half....somethings not right....[:@][:@]

Suddenly the idea of paying 3.50a gallon for biofuel or trading that 4-wheel drive in for a Chevy S-10 aren'tsounding too bad after all.

I can only run B5 (warranty purposes) and I don't think a S-10 can pull the trailers around...

Now might be a good time to trade that 30 foot camper trailer in for a nice tent.

Still not high enough for people to really start caring. I haven't heard calls for new drilling or refineries. Better get use to it and even higher prices should Obama win this fall. He doesn't think gas prices are high. He and Hillary want to steal more money from big oil. That will trigger even higher prices. On the bright side, I feel good, don't you?

My prediction is that the crap is gonna hit the fan when gas tops 4 bucks a gallon nationwide and doesn't drop in price. Dunno whats gonna happen, i just think that something will. In the meantime, my 2001 Hyundai (30+ MPG) is now my most prized possesssion.

More million dollar hearings in both the Senate and House. They'll sit there andtry to beat up on big oil accomplishing nothing. What else?

I still love my gas guzzlers. What I hate is the cap some gas stations have on their pumps, $75.[:@] They claim it's their for your protection, however have no response when I ask why am I able to reuse the same card to fill up the rest of the tank.

Maybe the Senate and House will be forced to take action rather than just talking. Of course, it will be the government interfering with a free market, but that's nothing new.

Yes, it's a conspiracy going on here. Bush called big oil last week and said, raise the gas prices now. I need donations for my library.
