Some of you all may remember my post about a month ago how the Dems are refusing to confirm a bunch of National Security positions and Econimic Advisors. I also pointed out that they have been blocking 4 positions for the Federal Election Commission. Knowing the Clintons and all of their past hanky panky and fines they had to pay after the fact with regards to illegal money, this comes as no surprise. However, new evidence has come to light.
Obama is the one who put a "Hold" on Hans von Spakovsky. This is after Spakovsky had cleared the rules committee. Other Dems have now joinedObama as well. Why would they do this you ask? Spakovsky has supported voter-ID laws. We know the Dem motto when it comes to elections "Vote early and often on election day". An ID requirement wouldruin this long Dem tradition.
So it looks like at best we will get two more appointtees for the FEC not 4 because it's done in pairs, 1 Dem1 Rep. The Senate hasn't shut down and gone on leave for I believe a little over a year to block any recess appointments. If 6 members don't get seated, no quorum, no certification forMcCain, no 85 million in the fall from the Federal Government for John McCain.
I have to ask, are the Dems this desperate, this worried they can't beat McCain in a fair fight?
