Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default "The thing to do"

With all of this election BS going on, I got into an argument witha couple of my buddies today. Im voting McCain, and they are voting Bama.

The way Im looking at this, is a big majority of people are voting for Obama, just because its the thing to do. Its "what everyone else is doing", and I think alot of young people are voting for him just for that.

I also think alot of people hate on George W. Bush for no reason other than "Its the thing to do". People who try to bash on him, have no argument, they just say general bad things about him or make fun of him, just because it's what everyone else and the media does.

Probably so, but I didn't notice it as much in the last election.

Have you ever googled Obama and Nostrodamus, kind of interesting if you like that stuff

It's amazing how many broken people attribute their downfalls to doing "the thing to do..."

So you distastefully commentabout Obama's bandwagon appeal, and when I reply that many young people ruin their lives by doing what everyone else is doing, you get defensive?

I wouldn't sweat the white guy that wiggled in. It was the republicans that voted for Obama in Wisconsion that should make the GOP nervous.

First off- it wasn't distasteful. I would like for you to tell me how it was.

And you didn't do a very good job in implying that you were talking about how "young people ruin their lives by doing what everyone else does".

What you said made it sound like you were calling me "broken" and I was somehow "attributing my downfall" to people doing what everyone else does.

Why? Republicans if they did switch was to end all doubt about Hillary. They aren't voting for Obama. If he really gets the nod, he won't hold up in the main show. He's not ready for prime time. He hasn't been tested and the speech last night showed it.

LOL, calm down. Seems you could use the peace pipe...

No, what you said wasn't distateful. Distaste is what you felt, the emotion you communicated. And no, I didn'timply anything. I said what I meant and meant what I said. You need to read what I say. Nor did I say anything about you until my second post. Read.
