Conceal and carry on college campuses?

In the wake of the latest school shootings, there were two pundits from both sides of the issue on conceal and carry on campuses, one saying it would save lives, the other that it would make it more dangerous (on the news). The interesting thing that came out right at the end is that there are currently campuses that DO have conceal and carry, yet NO incidents of students firing at each other over a girlfriend, etc. as the alarmists assert.

Why haven't the conceal and carry on campus advocates pointed out that OUR POSITION IS PROVEN IN THE REAL WORLD.It is one thing to debate what would happen if something untried were put into action, but here we DO have actual experience on this issue, and conceal and carry supporters like myself need to simply point out the rhetoric against such policies doesn't happen as alleged!

Perhaps, but I would suggest that any mental defectivewalking into a classroom with the idea of shooting people is going to experience an instant attutude change when he finds gunfire coming in his direction.

Hey Jim, What should be done with the student that actually uses their legally obtained concealed weapon when they botch the attempt to take out a alleged mass murderer and kill 1 or multiple innocent bystanders in the area? Should we council them and the victims family's? Should they be charged with manslaughter? Should they be trained to clear a room by SWAT? I don't think this issue is as black and white as some may think.
