Yes sir..it happened 30 miles form my home..It was on our TV news..a big black women picked up the back of the chair and the paralized man came rolloing on the floor...face first.The other deputies standing around laughing are in trouble too..There has been over 200 incidents reported before{From this particuliar station} but only a couple were investicated and nothing was done about it.

There's no reason to dump a quad out of his chair. Particularly one that is already delivered to the jailhouse. This is just plain wrong.

Exactly ..looked like a nice fellow.He wasn't belligenterant or anything..I guess the lady didn't beleive him when he said ."I can't stand up." They are in serous trouble and she is lookng at 5 years ..and the quad...is sueing for mega bucks..and will win...they are not fighting back.

Having seen the video, I certainly don't have a problem with the charges against her. It was ridiculous. And although the story didn't mention it, it was my understanding from television coverage the other day that the quadriplegic had not committed any crime.

These scumbag cops need to face the same laws/penalties the rest of us would. No exceptions! And the code of silence among cops only serves their own kind. Powertrip for most.

I am certainly not anti-police. I understand that day-to-day dealings with the dregs of society results in a certain 'behavior modification' where the police adopt a certain attitude towards the people they deal with.
They are professionals but these things happen because they are also human. The problem comes when brother officers decide it's ok where the same offense if witnessed being perpetrated by a 'civilian' would result in immediate arrest. To me, these are 'slob cops' and need to be 'squared away' for the good of the community they supposedly serve.
