Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The church outside of the church..

Alot of you folks I believe have had a bad taste of church..trust me..God is nothing like most of His children. There is a huge population of good God fearing Christians who do not go to a church..I am one..Instead of sitting in a mega church I simply tune into my favorite one on TV every Sunday..I still lay aside x amount of dollars and give to local needs or missions that I can put my faith in..Trust me..we are seeing the same things you folks are seeing and like the Pilgrims did.{Refusing to attend king james Church}we .refuse to be manipulated and fleeced by the false shepherds.I'm sure there are some good ones out there somewhere but I'm tired of looking.I still fast, pray, give and strive to walk the talk but do not attend a "building Church" I won't go or support something I don't believe in." I said all that to say please don't group all of us Christians in one lump ..there is a big population of sincere Christians out there.I apologize for all of you who have seen the bad stuff and the lies but i can promice you ..GOD is wonderful..he is a friend who will never leave you..and you were createdto know Him...and knowing Him is abundant life..
God bless,
C7

My father always used to say, you don't need to go to church to believe in God. I was always kind of raised as a C.E.O. church-goer. C.E.O. = Christmas and Easter Only.

I have tried going tochurch on a regular basis, but got turned off by some of the upper crust, snooty, holier than thou types of people. They are very quick to cast judgement on others, but yet, think that they are soooo much better.

I wouldlike a church that is relaxed. A church were the minister is real and down to earth, and heck, might even want to hook up with you sometime and go skeet shooting!

It's your soul. Personally, I think Jesus consecrated St. Peter as the first Pope for a reason...

On second thought, I've got a lot of nerve to pontificate like that. I'm a little annoyed with some aspects of American religious politics right now and am just rambling. I apologize for insulting other people's faith and biblical interpretation.

I have a friend who is a cloistered nun. She sees the various religions as different spokes in a wheel, all leading to God. I see us all as having a soul, and our own path to walk. So, we walk it.

Yay!

Somehow I doubt there was someone in upstate New York twisting your arm and forcing you to read this.

No twisting, but there is a religious forum for threads with no political base.
