Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I support it as one front of a global war against terror that most Americans applauded when Bush announced it in 2001. Unfortunately, it has been screwed up sufficiently that i doubt that we will be moving onto Iran and Syria later, as i had hoped. If in a year or so most U.S. troops are gone and Iraq is functioning as a reasonably (for that area) stable democracy, any debate over the reasons for going in will be moot. But, if it turns into chaos, then people will be fighting about it in the history books for generations.

I don't agree with footing the bill for the world. It wasn't worth $1 trillion plus, especially considering North Korea and Iran pose bigger threats. I understood why Bush went in, but the oil was supposed to pay for the war, NOT PROFIT, JUST COVER THE COST. While preemption of perceived threats sounds great, it simply cannot be afforded bya country with a national debt of greater than $ 7 trillion.

i also support the war as i do in Afghan.
i think it was horribly miss managed i said when it started we should have sent in 10xs the troops.
In desert storm we went in with over 500,000 in 03 we went in with like 150,000

I do see if McCain wins with his militate past he will get the job done he has said from day one we need more troops.
I also think Iran and NK were and are bigger treats. But i do see there time coming to a end sooner then later

I look at it this way, we havent had a major attack on our soil since going into Iraq. Why because the terrorist are too busy blowing up each other. Unfortunalty American soliders do get caught up in those bombings. I would like to see the US get out of Iraq, but we need to do it in a timely fashion, and make sure our work there is done. None of this lets pull out right now, but when we can trust the Iraq goverment and make sure everything we did doesnt go to the dogs.

I support the troops 100% and think Berkley and any other city who does what they did should be cause for the entire STATE to get zero federal funding for 10 years. I just think we need to live within our means so our children and grandchildren don't have to live through a depression that makes the 1930's look like a cakewalk! Imminent threats, take them out. Potential threats, can't afford them all!

I support our troops and all the rest of it but i have to say the war is all for Bushs control over the oil, politics and nothing else.

Innocent people are dying over there fighting a pointless war, we should pull out and leave the middle east to fight amongst themselves and not drag us into it. Now the west especially America is the most hated country in the world thanks to Bush. I cant stand that man.

If the war was about oil, gas would cost $.50 at the pump. I'm tired of hearing this BS lie being strewn about! In hindsight, I don't think it was worth paying for it all, but we should stick it out until the Iraqis can truly fend for themselves, then get the h&ll out of there and make note to self never to go after another country unless we've been hit or the threat is truly imminent!
