I believe, that at this point, Huckabee is undisputably, the candidate that represents the American Protestants.

This is what I have a problem with is people are voting for this guy just cause he is "christian". IMO this is wrong and is the same as not voting for someone cause of their religion. You need to look at the issues and not their religion. This is one reason I hate Huckabee he said he doesnt think religion should be a factor in the election, but then turns around and calls himself the christians canidate.

"America is blessed in that it is able to shed it's blood so that others may be free."
That is the inscription on a government building in Nashville, Tennessee.
It raises the question in my mind, "How can we bring freedom to others, when we're not free ourselves?"
We need to get rid of abortion, and it's not going to happen, unless we elect someone who's going to fight abortion, and appoint three Supreme Courth justices that will be Pro-Life.
We need a constitutional amendment protecting the unborn, just like they have in Poland.
We need to define marriage, and "Keep *****ism *****."
Someone's got to realize, for years we've been whining about the "ungodly" laws we have, well, here's your chance, to elect someone who will tire to get rid of them, and if you don't vote for him, well, I think you've lost your say and complaint rights.
But then you say, "What about National Security to protect us?"
Protect what? A nation that sacrifices it's childrentosexual promiscuity?
Andconcerning National Security, we've not had a single attack in the 6 and-a-half year time span between 9/11 and now, and I assure you, that wasn't because the President was patrolling the coasts of Maine with an M4 Carbine, the CIA and Homeland Security will keep us safe, as is their job, and as theyhave successfullydone in the past, nothing to worry about there, in fact, Huckabee has a 9-step plan for securing the border that will be having a border fence completed by July 1st,2010, isn't that moving forward on National Security?
Patraeus is doing a great job with the War, little can change there, the plans in Iraq that go on will most certainly continue, and likewise continue to work and make progress in winning theWar.
It's not just "Christian" candidate, I was simply putting emphasis on the Christian side, since that is the most important issue facing America today, is our morality, and legal ethics.
No government has control over what happens in the afterlife, only what happens in this life, in fact, banning abortion when the mother's life isn't in danger, is actually, having to do with life and death, not afterlife.
Pro-LIFE, not Pro-AFTERLIFE, because we've got no say in the "afterlife politics".

We've been a nation of laws for over 230 years. The law says you're not a person until birth.
It needs to change, let's face it, people want change, and they're going to get it, is it going to be Obama's driver's licenses for illegals and three Supreme Courth judges, that support abortion, including partial-birth, and also homosexual civil unions, not to mention pulling out of Iraq; or is it going to be a sealed border, Christian rights back in schools, and an end to abortion, and not giving the terrorists a break.

Which is it going to be?
I oppose extremists of both sides with equal ferocity. I see no reason to rush change. It'll happen on its own if there's a compelling enough reason. I don't believe that government should engineer society. It needs to be the other way around.

Good grief. Where did he say he's voting for him "just cause he is 'christian'"? Do you really think we are so stupid as to support him without knowing where he stands on issues that are important to us?
