He voted for a Katrina bill that allows federal agents to seize law bidding citizens legally owned guns in a crisis
In IL he voted to ban semi auto guns he wonted more laws regarding the purchase of firearms
He also supported the useless assault weapons ban of Clinton which really helped solve nothing

Not trying to defend Obama here, as I would sooner vote for the dead cat that's been in the road out in front of the local Pizza Inn for the last four days, but...
He voted for the Vitter Bill that FORBIDS federal officers from confiscating the guns of law abiding citizens. That was actually a pro-gun vote. Note that the Hildebeast voted against the bill, so she's all for confiscation of weapons after a disaster....

correct, he'll just make you wait for it, regulate which ones you're capable of using properly, charging high fees to have them, make the ammunition expensive and make it so you can't buy and sell unless through a FFl dealer
Oh c'mon folks...one of the basic tenets of Democrat liberalism is the destruction of the second amendment.
As members of a hunting board, I can say the odds are with me that most of us have varying degrees of
financial commitment to our gun collections large or small. So to me, I CANNOT vote democrat until such time as the party plank changes. Conservative democrats have been disenfranchised for so long they regularly vote for republicans or independents. And their own party could not care less...they have enough parasites supporting them that they don't need the whiners to vote their party. Good.
I see all those Christian democrats in NYC voting for the party of infant murder. My parents are of that ilk and I never tire of asking them if, when they're working in their parish church and shootin' the breeze with the monsignor, if they happen to tell him they support abortion ? According to Church teaching, abortion is murder so conversely, anyone who votes for the party that condones murder is a supporter and should be excommunicate. Fat chance, I know, but there should be no Roman Catholic (I am unfamiliar with other branches of Christianity / Catholicism) voting for a democrat. Period.
So, you'll have gun owners vote for democrats, and pro-life people vote for democrats, and then they all whine about what they get. It'd be funny if it was not so sad....
