Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default BioWillie® premium biodiesel

In September 2006, in a report from the national laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory identified the advantages of using a B20 biodiesel blend:[ul][*]
Reduces life-cycle petroleum consumption by 19%[*]
Reduces life-cycle CO2 emissions by 16%[*]
Further reduces hydrocarbon emissions by 20%[*]
Significantly reduces toxic emissions[*]
Reduces PM emissions[*]
No impact on NOx[/ul]

Not only that, but in changing to biodiesel made from locally grown soybeans and other feedstock, you support America"™s farmers......Go Willie, Go Willie......also http://www.earthbiofuels.com/.....Go Willie, Go Willie....

I'm a farmer and the new tractor i just bought is only rated tob5 diesel blend. i do us the B5 blend. i talked to my JD dealer and he said it might be 5 years or more before they are rated to b20 or better. the thing with any bio diesel is it will not store for long periods. it will start to break down and get a bacteria growth. that growth will plug up the fuel lines and filters. but it is still a very good product to use.

Bacterial growth can be controlled, what wouldn't be controlled would be the eventual competition for food that biodiesel will generate.

The only edible oil that can yield biodiesel and remain "unpalatable" to the population is hempseed oil. Acre for acre it will also produce more oil than any other plant material, and also provide fiber, paper, and every product normally produced from petroleum with the sole exception of gasoline. Hemp also has the advantage of growing everywhere except Antarctica, so currently unused wilderness and wasteland could be utilized. The Chinese have a thriving hemp industry and are already producing biodiesel on large scale from it cheaply, can we really afford to fall behind them?

There is a guy that has a plant near us that makes it out of the waste from the Purdue chicken plants.
