every ethnic group has been treated badly by another group at one time or another. Such is the result of our sue happy society, people don't realize that history is history, and some things were perfectly acceptable in the past, that we choose not to accept now (although some people in the world would, I'm sure). I'm sorry about how we treated them, but it wasn't me who did it so get over it. I'd say if they look back on it, their ancestors would say that it was worth it for their offspring to be living in the greatest society the world has ever seen instead of drinking crap water in Africa. BTW, the same argument goes for native americans, sorry about what happened and how you were treated, but the world was command and concur back in those days......you lost, get over it.

I'm all for reperations. It's about time we sit down and solve this issue. We also must put on the table the trillions already spent by the dems in the welfare programs. So as I see it, the US treasury is due trillions in refunds.

the problem arises when "they" detemrine who's eligable. It will invariably come down to skin color, the very thing we're suppose to all be trying to NOT be. and since color of skin is really no indication of racial history or racial background, its not slavery reperations is it ? Its really giving money to people with non-white skin
