When it came to MLB and NBA all-star ballots I only voted for white players ? And if I only took my taxes to white tax preparers ? And if I only bought music from white recording artists ?

And if in political elections, I only voted for white candidates ?

What if I made it a point, as a white man, to do everything to help my fellow white skinned people ?

Would that make me racist ?

Isn't that what people of non-white skin do ? What does it make them ?

Charlie yes, I find it very interesting the observations of how race affects us all in this country. Its not as it appears to be on TV

Well think about it, if whites didn't follow the NBA, if we didn't buy the tickets, fund the arenas, watch the games, there would BE NO NBA. 80% or more of the NBA is black players, but 90% of the fan base is white.

Tell me ....... what sport is 80% white with 90% black fan base ?

Duane, I think you are hinked on black/white issues. Remember, a person can be pro-black without being anti-anyone else. The mirror image is not being pro-white, perhaps, but pro a particular ethnicity. Like being pro-Polish. There were summer camps, resorts, supermarkets and a college which were Polish-oriented but I don't remember them being called racist. They still exist (except for the college).

As a matter of fact, there are white professionals (like doctors and lawyers) with a majority black clientele and white entertainers like Peewee Herman, Carole King, Mike McDonaldwhoare widely popular among black folks.
