But as far as climate, its awful bold to make statments that we have entered a new Epoc caused by climate. Besides, time scales are based on the flora and fona. So this article is saying that we are now populated by a whole new set of organisms that did not exist in the Holocene.Wherewasthe transistion? Did I sleep through it agian?

Oh yea, stratigraphic layers have shown that there has been a major reduction in acid percipitation in the last100 years. That would be in old growth maples.
