Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I would if I got it.. Another example of redistribution of wealth. Even some people with earned income credit who never paid taxes, got a refund will get even more back. Every tax payer should get a refund regardless of how much they made.

I wouldn't have gotten one individually, but, since we're a two earner household, we sneak in under the cap on that part of it. I'll be putting mine into the "new roof fund", and since we live in Houston and the roofing companies all get their labor in front of Home Depot, the money will probably end up being sent to Mexico...

I'd consider it if I had a smaller house. My wife used to do some roofing before we met. But, our house is over 3200 square feet, so roof area is probably around 5000 square feet, and I've found that projects like that are best left to the professionals.

I was thinking about a new Rem. 700 CDL in 7mm-08, but, I inherited a 700 BDL chambered for 7mm Rem Mag a while back and have picked up a couple boxes of Managed Recoil ammo, so the 7mm-08 would be a bit redundant.

Thats one large roof IPS, 5000 sq ft, be about 50 sq of shingles, around 45$ a sq for shingles you got over $2200 in shingles alone not counting tar paper, nails, accessories and labor.

Hope your getting a good returnWish I was closer, Id love to do a roof that size

Yeah, and I'm also likely to need some of the plywood and support structure meddled with... I'm guessing it's going to run at least $7500 for the whole job.
