RE: Black Support for Obama.....
Well, to answer the really insignificant question of this post, maybe some black support of Obama is from black people who know far more about him than some white people and sense a community of interest. Further, there was not a well-spring of black support for the other five or six previous black presidential aspirants (I can name them for you!) so its not simply blackness that's attracting these black folks.
Then you have white folks listening to and disseminating false internet rumors about Obama's church, his religion and even his dead father.
Basically, it would be racist for black folks to refuse to vote for a white candidate because that person is white. Based on the previous races, I don't see much evidence of that. Similarly, it would be a racist decision for anyone to refuse to vote for a black person because of his or her race.
