Internal EU report casts doubts on its biofuel strategy

Ah one scientist disagreeing with another one how shocking.

I was watching something yesterday that stated they would be able to bring the costs of making bio fuel down to well under a dollar a gallon in the near future.

A guy I have talked with is making bio fuel out of the waste from chickens, which he gets for the price of shipping it from the plants, why not make fuel from our garbage.

The EU, along with the rest of the so called "green" idiots, should get it through their heads that no matter what alternative fuels there are out there none are plentiful or cheap enough to supplant petroleum and there never will be. There isn't enough land available to grow the amount of fuel crops needed without displacing food agriculture. Biofuels could conceiveably ease the transition from petroleum to other fuels, but there will never be enough of it for biofuels to take Big P's place on their own.

Once they find out how to produce "green fuels" by using less energy than the fuel produces, it will be a moot point and a waste of money.
