I still don't get it ........ Tiger isn't African American, his racial background has no ties really overall to what slavery was. In fact, I'd hazard to say a lot of Afircan American heritage came AFTER the years of US Slavery.

Since when has an image of a noose not conjured up an equally clear image of a lynching?
Probably in questionable taste, but an entirely valid use of an image. The real problem is just how GD oversensitive everybody has become due to all of the PC bullsheit. If the target of it says it's a non-issue for him then everybody whining about it needs to grow the F-up.

I find it funny how this 'incident' if you wan to call it that, has goteen every race-baiter and oversensitized liberal in the country spewing froth while the so-called 'victim' of the so-called 'slur' is not offended and sees it as it is.

The entire thing should have started and finished in a 10 second span that it occurred in, nothing bad was intended or even felt by those involved until others got involved.
When things like this happen the PC folks come out and make a stink about it, the ONLY effect that has is bring more attention to the statement which should have had no attention in the first place.
Same effect when a group protests a movie or book, turns a non-issue into a HUGE issue and net result, more people see the move, buy the book etc.

Doesn't it only take 1/16th in order to claim to American-Indian/Native American status? I thought Tiger was 1/2 African American (via his dad), 1/2 Thai American (via his mom), and, of course 100% American (which is really what we all should be called....
