You've got to be kidding me. Thats so rediculous. You honestly think some idiot with an illegal handgun is going to have it stamped? Yet another law attacking only law abiding citizens. This will have no affect on crime.

I don't know why this is not called what it really is....an abrogation of our civil rights and an invasion of privacy. When a whore...uh....politician (sorry) supports this type of legislation, there should be criminal charges as he's broken his oath to uphold the constitution. I wonder if there's a sheizer lawyer who could sue each signatory of such legislation (a class-action lawsuit ?) for damages ?

The junk science of "ballistic fingerprinting" has been shown to be worthless so many times, yet idiots like Feinstien continue to buy into it. All it is from their perspective is a legal way to drive the gun industry from their market. No right has been abrogated, it just makes it impossible to comply so the manufacturers will have to abandon the market. It won't stop illegally obtained guns from proliferating, all it will acomplish is the eventual disarmament of the citizenry. I'd suggest that any gun owner residing there strongly consider moving to another state.

I am considering moving to another state. Its just I live about 1 mile from the national forest and about 1 hour from Yosemite. But, if these laws go much farther, I just might have too. [:@]
