I am a Ron Paul fan and supporter, I ma not here to make 100 posts about ron paul or really debate in a politics forums... you will find that I am not a big fan of politics.... But I like Ron Paul.....
he doesnt get much media attention though... why?
He wants to get rid of the IRS.... bet our goverment doesnt like that lol...... since the IRS is illegal, yet many americas dont realize it...... A ex IRS agent put a ad in the wallstreet journal offering $50,000 to anyone that can prove using the IRS's own book you have to pay taxes, so far no one has succeded..
He wants to have nothing to do with the UN! amen to that.. I dont want anything to do with the UN either... this country was started so we wouldnt be ran by anyone but the people...... thats not how it is today!
He wants to stop the NAFTA Super highway.... if you dont know what this is look it up.. its basicall a highway being built from the border of Texas to the border of south dakota I think www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=15497
www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBmFrYWPoG8
the super highway will not allow american truckers, and will be owned by spain.....(wow that sopunds american)
He wants to stop the plan of America, Mexico, and Canada becoming one(the amero currecy is alreayd out there) I actually saw it wiht my own eyes... No lie...
I am not a nu or conspriracy therist, but I have been studying thes things for a year now.
Most Americas dont ever think this stuff will happen, or is happening... ya never know... I dont belive the news on TV, since almost all of them are owned by one man....
I remember in the Marines I took an oath to defend this country against all enemies foreign or domestic... most people forget the domestic part lol....
but those are the reasons I think he doesnt get much media support...... I believe the media is goverment controlled whether most people like to believe it or not
I hear you, but I think it's a stretch to believe thatthe national media has an interest in protecting the IRS,the UN, or NAFTA. I really think Paul lacks coverage because Americans have no interest in listening to him. Supply and demand is something I imagine he wouldunderstand quite well.
I campaigned for the Libertarian Party before I was old enough to vote. In every election I've looked at since they formed in 1971, the LP presidential candidate has recieved 1% or less of the nationalpopular vote.Wearingthe cloak of Republicanism doesn't fool anyone.Paul is considered by most American voters to be way too controversial, media conspiracy or not.
As for me, I think he is dead wrong on Iraq. A policy ofinternational non-intervention seemed the way to go in the 18th century, but man, have we come a long way since then. The country can not afford to fall back on idealism of that sort at a time like this. As relevant as Paul is on domestic issues, he has turned off a lot of people by calling for a weaker international military presence, including me.
Ron Paul is rated a A+ by the NRA, means he is pro-gun 100%
Nafta superhighway isnt nonsense IMO....
He believes abortion is wrong.... Ron Paul used to deliver babies... he is pro-life, but believes the issue should be left up to the states...
That's the first time I've heard anything about his position on those issues. He might have made more of an impact had he emphasized real issues like that instead of the NAFTA highway and abolish the IRS nonsense.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of the NAFTA superhighway. Although, they avoid calling it by that name. The Texas portion is under construction and is commonly referred to as the "Texas Corridor." As I understand it, it will be a multilane highway, power and communications corridor spanning the country from Mexico to Canada, and with the intent of no border checkpoints.
