With so many losses and so little progress in Afghanistan and Iraq, the faltering terrorist network is looking to get back to the basics--overthrowing the seculargovernment in Islamabad. Considering how little support al Qaeda enjoys among the general population, particularly in the cities and more developed areas of the south, they'll have their work cut out for them.

I saw on the news where they set off a bomb killing 50 people in Pakistan today, that should quickly endear them to the locals.
