I notice that a quick troop with draw is no longer in the news as THE hot campaign issue. Is it now official that the surge has worked?
Too bad the lowered violence is going to be short lived.
I hate to say it, but GWB is the biggest buffoon, when it comes to the art of war, that I have ever seen.
Leave it to GWB to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with an early troop draw down just in time to bolster the Democratic Party by early next spring.
Why!! Has a troop draw down even been openly discussed/endorsed by the White House?
The truth be known"I bet the GWB administration doesn"t even have the replacement team to replace the current Iraqi government picked out yet.
As Charlie would say "Good Grief".
For once "Stay the course" is the right decision"I can bet that is the last thing GWB will do.
I say take advantage of the lowered level of calls to quickly with draw the extra troops. Will that be done? Not a chance.
