RE: Russia Ships Nuclear Fuel to Iran
Thought Russia was broke and their government collapsed. Here we go again with the cold war only this time we will have China in the mix. Both China and USSR have pretty strong ties to Iran. I think it is time for the US to become free of that oil umbilical from the Middle east and Venezuela. It would be great to cut the ties on our terms rather than to have them cut us out. Nuclear power plants need to be built now and alternative energy technologies need to be started.

Russia's new economic outlook revolves around oil. Not only is Moscowmaking a fortune selling Russian oil to former Eastern Bloc countries, but it's also selling Russian technologies to OPEC nations who areprofitting in the oil markets as well.

Pretty interesting what their new capitalistic societyis doing. Still a tug of war between old hard lineCommunists and the new age Russians.China has an insatiable need for fossil fuels and will certainly do all they can to put themselves in position to buy it. Iran is linked to both of them and I doubt that will work out in our best interests.
