Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default O'Reilly and Fox called this ad "anti American" and would not air it

Do you feel it's anti American?

Maybe. These freakin movie stars live in la la land. CIA has been using techniques to get people to talk for decades. And they are effective in my opinion. Exposing our most clandestine, effective gov. operation for political points is antiamerican.

I feel bad for the guy. He's really showing his age...

Kind of funny that they're running an ad like this for a lame duck less than a year from the next election.

Anyway, no, it doesn't strike me as anti-American. Just partisan, and typical of Hollywood.

The idea of actors attempting to sway politics is as laughable as the 60's movements, which seriously purported to change the world with love.

Love saved the world, until it hit Altamont speedway.

I look back at some of what happened back then, along with what was said and done, and it all seemed to have all the trappings of mass hysteria.

The 60's and early 70's are similar to the 90's and beyond in that increased communications created more questions than answers. Some of the questions and answers were an example of our flaws in reasoning and our inabilities to get beyond the idea that what works "on paper," will never really work in practice.

In theory though, love is all you need.

I think a lot of people like me have a problem with people who's only public statements on the war are to protect the enemy. I don't know if that's the case for Danny Glover, but if it is, shame on him!

I use to like Danny Glover, until he started tossing salad with Chavez.
