Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

http://www.mikehuckabee.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Issues.Home

He's

very pro-life
supports veterans
his health care views are non-universal - anti-Hillary
FairTax .... interesting concept
anti-gay in that he wants Ammendment to define a "marriage"
stong immigration talk
very pro-gun and a hunter

he is a strong supporter of the Iraq occupation

THOUGHTS ?

Seriously, He's been my choice the whole time. An underdog, and I feel he won't get the nomination, but I wish he would.

i like huck as well... but he can't win the nomination and i don't think he can beat hilary... he's prime to be a great VP candidate for the nominee though (which is likely to be Rudy or McCain, I don't see Romney as a viable condidate either even though he polls pretty well)... Paul??? while I like a lot of his positions, he comes across in the debates as being a total loon...

*pulls pin and runs for cover*

WHO IS RON PAUL?

[*]He has NEVER voted to raise taxes.[*]He has NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget.[*]He has NEVER voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.[*]He has NEVER voted to raise congressional pay.[*]He has NEVER taken a government-paid junket.[*]He has NEVER voted to increase the power of the executive branch.[*]He voted AGAINST illegal immigration[*]He voted AGAINST the Patriot Act.[*]He voted AGAINST regulating the Internet.[*]He voted AGAINST the Iraq war.[*]He is FOR legalizing industrial hemp[*]He voted AGAINST subsidies[*]He DOES NOT participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.[*]He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Ron Paul is the champion of the Constitution.

Doesn't sound like a loon to me. He's the only politician that hasn't be compromised. Heck, I wouldn't even call him a politician.

I wonder what views Paul would have held during WWII.

have you actually listened to him in the debates or speakin on the stump???? as I said, I like most of his positions, but when speaking he comes across as a loon, he's not very good at expressing his opinions and sometimes looks like a flustered old kook... he's doing great in fund raising, but he'll never make thru the first few primaries... he has no chance in hell of winning anything... no matter how much I happen to like his views...
