Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Huckabee is a serious contender. The past and present polls really don't mean all that much. When it gets down to the wire polls have a way of changing all around due to people sitting on the fence having to make a decision and false steps by some of the candidates. At this point in2004 I believe Kerry was last in the Dem caucuses and turned it around to be in the race. I see Rudy falling, old man McCain all but out of it, Thompson still learning his lines, Paul against the wallwith a future battle between Huck and Mitt for the GOP nod. Watch out for an Independent candidate to surface.

I like Huckabee myself, but I have this belief that people will not elect certain others because of names. "Huckabee" just sounds too goofy. Sorry to say that. It is very petty, but I think it's true.

By "another one", are you referring to the State of Iowa?

I was actually referring to C. Davis, but come to think of it, you're right: The State of Iowa must not have gotten the memo either.

At this point in2004 I believe Kerry was last in the Dem caucuses and turned it around to be in the race.
At this point, Dean looked like he could be the shoe in. The Dean scream rocked everybody's world, and it didn't cost Kerry a dime.

What I think was funny is that Dean had (out lefted) Kerry, and really appealed to the far left to be running strong in the Dem. primaries. When Dean went down in flames, Kerry was so far left he couldn't get back to center to be taken seriously in the general election. Kerry had to be thinking, that nobody could out left him.

I really like Huckabee, and I do think that he is a serious contender. But, money is going to come in handy now because the rest of the field is about to really be coming after him. Maybe he could get a loan from Ron Paul.
