Default teacher kills coon with nail gun

I found this rather amusing, cant believe nobodies really raising hell about it

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21791520/?gt1=10547

Superintendent Alvin Lievsay said a student's parent promised to bring in a raccoon for the exercise, but surprised teacher Jerick Hutchinson by bringing the animal in a live trap. Lievsay said Hutchinson, "who used to work in a slaughter house," took the animal outside to the back of his truck Friday and shot it with the nail gun. Lievsay said no students witnessed the raccoon's death.

What size nail gun works best is this situation? I have a finish nailer but I'd only be comfortable using that for squirrels.

I have a freind who has a trapping biz on the side. He is supposed to kill his trapped coons rather than relocated he told me. He does let some go.

Did he make a hat out of the pelt? Sure hope he did, a raccoon hat is a terrible thing to waste.

Just out of curiousity who told him to kill them when he catches them?If its anything like here theyre probably way overpopulated anyway but I wasnt aware you could get around the game laws concerning killing them out of season.I have a friend that does a lot of trapping, I just ask because if there a way to do it legally he may be interested.

I prefer my framing nailer, I can shoot anything from 8 pennies for small game all the way up to 16 pennies for dangerous gae with the same gun

Any luck ? I'm serious, I took a big, 4 D cell battery mag light and I beat blood and life out of a possum that was in my chicken house. What else was I suppose to do ? They're quick when they want to be, can climb trees fast and I didn't want to lose track of it going and getting my gun. So I beat it to death. My wife was there too .... quite chaotic and afterwards she had this wide eyed looke and quietly said" I didn't know you had that in you "

You da man. I only have the 3 cell Mag Light in addition to the smaller 2 AA variety. I guess I better not try to kill dangerous game with mine.
