Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I think he's a Ron Paul guy trying to make a point. I agree somewhat with his logic. I think RonPaul could beat the 1979 Jimmy Carter.

I think Reagan ran 2 smart and winning campaigns. I don't think Reagan was a flake, nut or crazy. I don't think Ron Paul can win and anybody who thinks only 6.6% of Republicans turned out for a presidential election is ignoring reality.

"Republican turnout "” at 6.6% "” was the lowest on record, as Bush ran essentially unopposed."

NUFF SAID!

"Ron Paul is one of the outsanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our Armed Forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country."- Ronald Reagan

I believe the key words in there were "Presidential Election" and you post an article regarding "Primary Elections" and "Unopposed". Hmmmm, for some reason I think you just got proven wrong. Go troll on another forum.

Apparently you didn't look at the youtube video Fieldmouse. It was explaining why Ron Paul was doing bad in the polls. Those polls survey "likely primary voters" i.e. Bush supporters.

Reagan came along at the right time in American history where thing sort of fell into place and he will be known as one of the more successful presidents. He may not have been a flake, crazy or a nut, but he was also FAR from the sharpest knife in any drawer. Luck and timing is many times more important than brains. Reagan is a perfect example of it. Bush, on the other hand is also far from smart and has had lousy luck and bad timing. One doesn't need to be too smart to know how history will judge him.

While Reagan had some flaky moments, like taking advice from a "psychic", but at worst he was probably a meat puppet.
