Default Ron Paul Raises More Than $4.2 Million

For those who said it would be a waisted vote during the primaries to vote for that man.. Might want to rethink about that thought..Especially the ones who likes Ron Paul.He is for real and is not going away any time soon. Another money bomb this week for him on the 11th.. Veterans day.. This will be very big also...

WASHINGTON (AP) "” Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, aided by an extraordinary outpouring of Internet support Monday, hauled in more than $4.2 million in nearly 24 hours.

Hey, congratulations. He's only, what, $50 million or so behind Romney now? And $35 million behind Romney? $20 million behind McCain?

I think it will eventually be Romney with the nod to go against Billery. Tough sledding in view of his religious affiliation and the fact that he is from Massachusetts. I think Rudy is starting to go down the drain and it is too late for McCain to climb back up. Forget Thompson"¦too little too late. Huckabee might be a VP with a good future in the national limelight in say 2012 or 2016. This will be the perfect storm for a complete Dem victory unless the GOP gets it together quickly. All this 3rd party talk just shows how tenuous the GOP party has become.

Might wanna check what youwrite also? But he has more money than these 2 you mention.. Rummy is 8 million in debt and McCain is 52k in debt from this race.. Do your home work on candidates, so you know the facts when you open your mouth, without BS spewing out of it...See you all in couple weeks, and have a good day all..

These are from their 3rd quarter FEC reports showing cash on hand as of 9/30.

Quote:
Candidate Money Raised Net Contributions* Money Spent Cash on Hand
Sam Brownback $925,745 $804,902 $1,278,856 $94,654
Rudy Giuliani $11,624,255 $11,253,552 $13,300,650 $16,649,826
Mike Huckabee $1,034,486 $1,031,679 $819,376 $651,301
Duncan Hunter $536,357 $486,337 $618,117 $132,742
Alan Keyes $21,218 $21,218 $10,139 $12,629
John McCain $5,734,478 $5,466,904 $5,470,278 $3,488,628
Ron Paul $5,258,456 $5,204,218 $2,169,644 $5,443,667
Mitt Romney $18,396,719 $9,533,269 $21,301,756 $9,216,517
Tom Tancredo $767,152 $747,539 $1,209,583 $110,079
Tommy Thompson $272,009 $195,725 $393,077 $580
Fred Thompson $12,828,111 $12,717,993 $5,706,367 $7,121,744
I'm not quite seeing where Romney is supposedly 8 million in debt if he's got $9 million cash on hand...

OK, I've done some rethinking. Not only is Ron Paul a waste of votes, buthe's a waste of money as well.
