Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default 3 months ago today..............

the bridge in Minneapolis collapsed. Today, the wreckage is cleared and construction on the new bridge officially begins. I just thought others may be interested, as I find myself not really being mindful of a tragedy just 3 months old.

It is kind of funny that the state decided to take the most expensive contractor out there. I feel bad for these other contractors that worked their buts off on getting a bid and designout for the bridge. They had designs that would get the job done, but the state says no, we'll pay the extra 60 million for this contractor.[:@]

Yeah I heard that and it is out of the norm for most things. If you think about it though and IMO, the state is trying to avoid any possible future liability with safety, etc... by being able to say, "see we paid the most to ensure quality and safety"..............thus "nothing more we could have done"............."see we responded to the tragedy by sparing no expense."
