It seems a little ridiculous that they would ban the recitation because of one error. A customized service is the way to go. Yet the policy allows for that upon request, so I'm not exactly sure what the issue is here.

Yeah, the story I heard was a little vague. What I gathered from it was....if it want it recited you have to ask.

That has been the policy. If you wanted it recited, you could ask for it. Now, they are not supposed to do the reading, even if it is requested.
