Arnold Schwarzenegger told the British edition of GQ magazine that he had not taken drugs. The former bodybuilder and Hollywood star has acknowledged using marijuana in the 1970s and was shown smoking a joint in the 1977 documentary "Pumping Iron."
"A politician's job is to do what's best for the people and to improve the country, the economy, the environment. Why should I care if a politician takes sleeping pills every night so long as he can do his job?"

Unless this means his official policy as governor is the decriminalization of marijuana, I don't think there's much of a story here. Schwarzenegger either has an agenda, is mincing words, or is in denial. I can understand differentiating between soft and hard drugs, but there's no way that cannabis in any form isn't a drug.

I couldn't help but notice that the longer Ahnuld is goobernor of the fruit, nut, and flake state the more his intellect appears to decline. Maybe he's been smoking some of that Russian River bud himself?

I suspect the diminishing IQ is the result of osmosis. He's been hanging out with Kennedys, and living amongst leftists for decades. I think that would make anyone lose a few points, or a few dozen...

At the end of Pumping Iron it shows him smoking a joint! He says he hasn't done drugs because he doesn't consider Marijuana to be a drug. It is a drug, but I still enjoy smoking it. Hell, I'm high right now.
