Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default 2nd ammendment rights violated again

http://www.nationalexpositor.com/index.php?news=569

This is getting carried away a bit now. Are they still teaching students about their rights at all in school? This is getting quite disturbing that many don't know them and that they are being ignored by the local police. it seams our country is no longer about freedom. It is disturbing in the least of all these reports showing up and the violations and abusive power of the police.

As a high school senior I can tell you that what we are taught is that:

1- Decent law-abiding citizens don't want to have guns,

2- guns are dangerous and good people avoid gun owners,

3- people who own guns may have some sort of personality disorder,

4- we would all be safer and there would be no crime if everyone had to turn in their guns.

Of course this is not actually taught in lecture form, it's implied in the other lessons we are taught.

Does the government limit how many words a reporter's word processor can hold at one time? How about limiting the amount a defense attorney can charge or how many lawyers can be hired for one client? Maybe if we limited the number of people who could attend church at one time? Could we make a rule that you need special permission to vote in more than one election per year? What if we didn't put limits on these things, but instead made people buy special permits to do them? None of these things would be tolerated, yet your 2nd Amendment rights have all sorts of restrictions that amount to the same thing. Once the 2nd is breached, the others will fall as well. Makes you wonder why they work on the 2nd before they start on the others.
