Well, I hope you're right, Kevin.

If Hillary were a element in the presidential race on her own, I would have almost no concern. That she is carefully packaging herself next to her husband could be a huge factor in the race. Like it or not, Bill Clinton may go down in history as the "president of peace and prosperity" and we may have large numbers of people who quietly think of him that way right now.

Contrary to what many people thought about her, she appears to be electable at least for now.

I don't contest that she's a formidable contender, but I took some heart in reading a piece on MSN that said that half of the people surveyed, including some demoncrats, wouldn't vote for her period, even to spite the 'publicans. It also went on to speculate that if she didn't swing at least 20% those voters by election time she could pretty well kiss off being POTUS this time around. Her husband's popularity aside, I haven't spoken to a single woman who is willing to vote for her, most said they either don't trust her or just plain don't like her, including some lib demoncrats. That gives me hope since they represent half of the voters by themselves.
