I think the wars have a had a big impact as well. Cant buy a license andhunt when we arent there

I have to agree with this that is why maine has set aside a hunter day for youths that can shoot any deer they want to provided they are under the age of 16.. They have even tried to make us register our double end canoes that we paddle. All because of losing dollars. With the price of gas and other things going it doesn't take very long for them to have a shoe string budget.
