Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default RATS!

It hadn't occurred to me before. I'll be old enough to vote in the election but not in the primaries. RATS, RATS RATS.

Well, look at it on the bright side. If there is a canditate you really like, you can help with the camaign. And it can make a difference in retail politics.

Don't worry, you'll be able to vote against hillary just in time and we can use all the votes against her that we can muster.

No way can I vote for Giuliani or any other pro-choicer. My mom left her parents and ran away from home so she could have me. And as far as guns are concerned, banning gun ownership for private citizens only leads to an increase in crime, not to mention the Second Amendment.

Giuliani, Romney, etc. are really no different than Hillary.

I've helped with a number of campaigns over the years, and in these parts, moderate Republicans have a really tough go of it. The abortion issue is a big deal to many in the party, also 2nd amendment and support of mom and dad families. Typical stuff that you see in the party platforms from county to district to state and to national level. If you are a GOP candidate, whenyou are off-beam on any of these, then you take the beating for that all the way up to election day. Consequently, my best read of this is that their viewpoint will be moderated if they succeed in being elected. Of all the candidates out there, Hillary worries me the most in terms of what we could lose. She caters to her lobbies and I expect her to be vengeful with us. This could be a difficult time ahead for sportsmen and womenif she leads a democratic congress.

We must do our best to stop her. Anyway, that is Biscuit's take.

Vote when you are old enough. 18 year old folks have not always been able to vote. Lots of WWII vetswere still too young to vote in the 46 elections. Most states refused to lower the voting age. Thank the late Senator Jennings Randolph of WV forpushing the constitutional amendment through congress in 1971.

"The amendment passed through Congress when it was reintroduced by Senator Jennings Randolph in 1971, and within months passed three-fourths of the state legislatures, quicker than any other amendment. The 26th Amendment was formally certified by President Richard Nixon on July 1, 1971."

It's a real bummer you have to miss the primaries. The primaries are usually my favorite vote. That is because I get to vote for the candidate that is the closest in line with my beliefs. In the past I have voted for the likes of Buchanan, Allen Keyes, and this time I will be voting for Huckabee. When the general election rolls around, I usually have to vote for somebody different. It would really be cool if Huckabee could somehow pull off a miracle. Thompson with a high dose of Geritol wouldn't be too bad either.

All of the Republican candidates, (even the dogs) are better than a European Socialist, which is what you will get with Hillary.

I am so glad to see that you are a Roe v. Wade survivor. That is one way you can make a difference. Tell your story to every one you know that you were almost snuffed out at an early age.

I've tried to explain that to people, but there a lot of folks out there that just can't grasp the idea that the little tiny critter inside my mom was ME.
